USB broadband modem troubles

There are a few issues when you plug-in and takeout that can cause your broadband modem to cause a fault or become faulty over daily and extended periods of use.

In order to keep it well maintained from a pre-paid service starter kit from any Internet service provider is that you plug-in your modem at an stable and reliable com port. Com port is a computer portal that links from one electronic device to another electronic device.

Making sure that the modem is clear away from any objects, especially USB ports that are dual. Connecting another USB cable or device can cause a fault because of the gap between the two ports. If it doesn't fit nicely don't force it in.

Removal of your USB Modem requires an extra step the just pull out there should be an icon located on the Right hand side near your time panel. There should be a small image of a USB device, if you don't click on the icon by drag your mouse over it should say it.
Right click and click on remove hardware. Once the icon appears ticked than you can safely remove it. The reason for these process is that no electrostatic interrupts your data files or store files, like a flash drive.
Pre-paid broadband modems are a hassle if the connections are being forced or wires have been disconnected. Instead of purchasing a whole new starter kit. You can simply use another previous ISP package, and reinstall the software thereafter uninstall and use the previous modem.

1) Malfunctioned USB or Broken connection points under physical conditions
2) Replace with another Previous Broadband modem or Buy a used Broadband modern or get it repaired from a Major retail electronic store.
(Retail electronic store- Ask for a quote before handing it in.)
3) if you replace the Previous broadband modem than make sure you have the original software for the modem, it doesn't matter what ISP it was as long as the software comes with that specific modem model.
4) Install the program, once the program has been installed, the modem driver should be installed also.
5) Un-install the program afterwards, So the software doesn't get recognised by the computer and create another wireless network connection.
6) Simply use the Broadband Internet Service Provider that you recharge with the Sim in it.
The reason for the use of the old software from a different ISP is that you don't need to find or update driver settings that is located in the control panel of the operating system.

Make sure that the operation system is Windows as a test for this method has been used of a specific modem.

If you have concerns and doubts perhaps borrow a friends modem. The modem may not be the problem but also the USB port connections plates are loses, broken and so forth.

If you have another USBdevice then plug in and see if it is operating and functioning properly.
Warranty of the computer or electronic device may or may not be covered.
Broadband ISP on plans should cover replacement of the modem.
